I have done this program with Ernesto in Florida for a month and we have made dumplings, mooncakes, Chinese movie night, more than 20 Chinese lessons, and much more. Hope you can take advantage of the program while I am still travelling around. I am giving students located in those countries because I will be in the US most of the time. For other parts of the world, you can still fill in the application form and I will consider it when I travel to that part of the world.

How the week may look like?

It will be just me coming since Chris will explore other parts of the world. I will work about 7 hours a day online teaching Chinese with my regular students. In any given week, we will spend at least 8 hours throughout the week, plus one whole day of the week. Those hours will be filled with language, cultural and daily activities.

My weekly schedule looks like this:

I work from 7am -12pm EST from Tuesday to Friday.

7pm-9pm EST from Monday to Thursday.

I can adjust my schedule with one week's notice.

Depending on your schedule, we will have 30-45 minutes of intensive Chinese lessons where we have more formal learning in person 2-5 times a week.

We will allocate 30-80 minutes 2-5 times a week to do cultural activities, like decorating your place with Chinese writings, do Chinese morning exercises, watch Chinese movies or shows.

Since Chinese cooking usually involves lots of prep, we can do Chinese cooking together once a week. If you are a foodie like me, we can make it happen more often. During the week, feel free to try the food I make.

I will be responsible for:

  • Buying and cooking my own food.

  • Buying plane or bus tickets to and from the nearest station or airport.

  • Half the cost for a homemade Chinese meal for the family.

You will be responsible for:

  • Picking me up and to the airport/station.

  • Providing a working and sleeping space.

  • Half the cost for a homemade Chinese meal for the family.

  • Decide how much you are going to pay every two weeks.

  • Utilities

How much to make this experience happen?

The value of a unique experience is unmeasurable, for both you and me. You can decide how much you would like to pay for the experience every two weeks in cash, check, credit card, debit card, Paypal, Zelle, or Venmo...... I will take any amount+the experience itself with me to my next journey.

Why Crazie Starts This Program?

Many students have shared with me that they lack the opportunities to speak Chinese where they are, and not everyone has the luxury to travel to China. Also, it is SUPER scary to just talk to someone who might speak Chinese. When you can't make it to China, you invite China over; when you don't have someone to practice Chinese with, you invite Crazie Laoshi over. Take it as an opportunity to increase your confidence in speaking and take your Chinese to the next level.

What's more, I had wonderful experiences sharing my language and culture in many different settings since 2016, my first time leaving China, through Au Pair Programs staying with American families which led to my lifetime pursuit of teaching Chinese, Chinese Language Immersion Camps in Northern US, Couchsurfing around the world, Workaway in the US, etc. Now, as a Digital Nomad teaching Chinese online, I have the flexibility to be where I want to be so I invite you to join me on this journey.
